Same tree carved 2” in diameter into maple branch. 0.5mm rad TBN bit.

I keep working to improve this model.

It looks amazing. How did you get the tail feathers to look so flawless? Thanks! I started with a drawing that I found. Then I looked at a lot of photographs of cardinals. The tail feathers were actually one of the last tweaks that I did. Very nice! Makes me want Aspire. You too can do this for $14...

Thanks Bill. I only used 2 bits. 1/4” up cut for 3D rough and final profile. 1/16” taper ball nose for final 3D cut.

Thanks! Here’s my Aspire designed, ergonomic, curly maple firewood, vise handle end. I’m trying this out and so far it’s working great when I have to wind out or in a large amount.
