Re: Control Panel Registration Problem
Do you have Vectric Portal.? If you do it will let you reregister, that is what I had too do... gene Don't confuse the software vendors - the Vectric Portal is for registration of VCarve, Aspire and the like. Vectric has nothing to do with Next Wave Automation's Control Panel software. Have you inv...

Re: stacked christmass
Would someone share the link to the Vectric site about stacked text? I want to try it but cannot find the tutorial... Legacy CNC has posted this YouTube video that I'm sure you'll find helpful. Although the tutorial is using Aspire I've watched it and VCarve users will have no problem applying the ...

Re: CNC Shark
The software all came with the machine when I bought it. The price and specs that you quoted match the CNC Shark basic model sold by Rockler. I think maybe your confused on the software part - the software that comes with that machine today is VCarve Desktop v8. I'm assuming you probably purchased ...

Re: Issue with SCP 2.1 rel 003
Yep, I think Joseph's got it with build #16. He's dealt with the issues I reported to him directly and then some. At the end of the day I think we all want a package that performs to our own expectations and those of the CNC community. That may involve some criticism back and forth, I certainly don'...

Re: Issue with SCP 2.1 rel 003
Hey fellas, There is definitely something going on related to the touch plate, preferences and who knows really what else. Rather than re-type it all here's the link to what I posted. This so repeatable and I may caution potentially a problem that it could result in a broken bit or some other damage...

Re: How to add/integrate laser controls to old shark control
Unit from J Tech Photonics. Thanks for the heads-up! See they even have instructions on integrating with the Shark Controller - understand your questions better now. I'm certainly going to investigate this further and may very well order this unit if I determine that it'll integrate with my control...

Re: Units mismatch at startup, v2.10
I've found a different bug and have let Joseph know but I thought I'd post it here as I think it could be a serious issue. I also don't like the versioning not being changed. Anyways the bug is user preferences being overwritten for touch plate thickness and safe Z height. It's repeatable and here's...
