Owl in an Apple branch
New model I created in Aspire. This is pretty small about 2” x 3”. I will eventually carve this much larger.

Yes, they are fun. Just gathered a bunch of 2” to 3.5” dia branches on my property a week or so ago. Got them drying inside now. Unlike regular lumber, there’s sometimes a lot of spots you normally wouldn’t want to have in your carving. I use a roughing file and run it at increasing depths until I’m...

There is a stone chapel constructed in the late 1800’s from stones from the property located in Kennebunkport, Maine, right on the ocean.
