Firware update video
After upgrading my firmware to 6 on both my pendant and my controller (if you don't the CNC won't work until you do so). It's pretty easy. I had questions on the HOME change on the new firmware update. Also picked up some good tips from this video. They did a great job on this video. Answered my que...

Re: Struggling with dust collection setup
This morning when I went out to the shop. Pulled out the 20x20" furnace filter out of my box fan over head air sweep and then emptied my Super Dusty Deputy 15 gal and my other dust deputy on my shop vac and then pulled the cover on my shop vac to give it clean out. It's been almost a year since I pu...

Re: Feather board
Thanks for the heads up. I saw another feather board made out of the same stuff I had. I cut out two of your design and will see how they work on the saws. They seem to be pretty springy even when pushed down tight against the boards. Time always tells the end story. I had 2 boards that I had used t...

Re: Feather board
Thanks for posting this vcarve file. I had some scap pvc board that I was making vacuum clamps out of and I have 2 boards rev 1 and rev 2 that would make great feather boards.
Thanks for sharing the file.

Re: vacuum pump recommendations?
Put up a Vcarve Pro file crv that has 2 pod designs in it and a set of 4. These work great. Vcarve 11.5 I could have modified them more to make them pretty but hey I figure I will chop in to them at some point or another. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1e8F6nUidzknYMiXIR1VH9j2QCXN9TrAr/view?usp=sha...

Re: vacuum pump recommendations?
Here is a video of making the cnc jig to be used for 5"x7" Award Plaques. Made the jig and then resurfaced 7 plaques with it using the vacuum pump. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NqY3pNThFc Here is a vcarve pro file on the pods. This file has some tool path associations issues as I was trying to u...

Re: vacuum pump recommendations?
This thread is getting kind of old. Do any of you have any new suggestions for vacuum pump table setup? I have seen the pods Rockler sells. Do you recommend a vacuum jig setup for each thing your batching out? Not sure if a Vacuum pump and table will be of much help to the hobby guy. Any one have an...

Etching Post Processor
I edited the latest nextwave inch .pp (post processor file for Shark 510HD) file to make it handy for using the etching tool path for using Drag Knifes or Drag Pen like a plotter. Here is the link to the post processor file. Just import it into your vectric software and use it when etching. All it d...
