I loaded Windows 10 and tried it with both Aspire 8 and with Shark CP 2.1
It worked just fine on two projects I ran. I could tell no difference between Win 7 and Win 10 with either program other than both loaded faster with Win 10.

I only have one more idea....check to make sure you are clicking the icon for version 2.1. The program adds a new icon for version 2.1 but does not remove older version icons, and it is very easy to click on the wrong one.

You should be able to download by clicking on check for updates under the help menu--that is if you have an
internet connection while also connected to your control panel.

When I make changes in preferences I must exit the program and restart before the changes take effect. Joe at KB Farms was one of the beta testers, and he says it is not necessary, but any changes I make will not work until I exit/restart. On another note, I am very pleased with how the machine works
