My virtual zero software worked perfectly for most of a year. Suddenly today I get a message that my registration has expired. Tried to re-enter the registration key I was provided to no avail.
If it is bought and paid for, why does it EXPIRE? Version 1.5 still works fine.

Re: Touch Plate- cord
I drilled a pilot hole next to the pre-drilled hole, inserted a screw into my pilot hole, then secured the cable to the touch plate with black tape. Not really pretty, but functional. It has been attached for about a year and no problems

I have both on my Mako, and would not do without them. Both are really an improvement.

Re: virtual zero
I do not see it now on Nextwave' site , but I downloaded a Users Manual for v2.0 when I got the software. It explains how to set up and operate the Virtual Zero. With the software running, go to File->Preferences->Border. If you enter 3, and if you work in inches, the software will take its measurem...

Re: need info on virtual zero.
Go to file->preferences->border. Enter the offset amount desired. If you use inches, entering 1 will offset towards the center the measuring point one inch from each corner.
edit--This applies to both the X and Y axes. I have not seen a way to offset by different distances for X and Y

Re: Nextwavwautomation software ver 2.0
There's not a lot to go on, but will offer some suggestions. Did the software load properly? If not, a reinstall may be required. If the software loaded properly, the computer must be connected to the control panel via USB cable, and the control panel must be turned on. If this is the case, you will...

Re: touch plate
On your control panel software you can offset the points from the material edges to allow clamping. When you load the Gcode, the software will recognize the dimensions of the workpiece. When you enable the Virtual Zero the software moves the router to the front left corner of your material, allowing...
