Re: grounding dust collection
Spent 42 years as a Lineman for at&t. Bonding and Grounding was a daily thing I worked on. I took a old extension cord that was 12" long with the male plug still on it. Cut the Hot and the neutral wires short and isolated them apart and sealed them up so they could not be in contact with anything. T...

Re: 20 watt laser need blue locktite
Everything is holding together just fine. The 20 watt laser has been out carving Buffalo River Backpacking Trails on a 12 by 18" piece of wood for the last 7 hours. 1st 3.5 hours was testing the toolpaths on a piece of mdf. The last 3 hours it's been lasering out a very cool keep sake for a good bac...

I was very fortunate to find the 4 screws and catch the loose hardware before it got damaged. I put the unit back togeth...

Re: 20 watt laser vs 7 watt laser
Here is a link to 4 vcarve test files for the 20 watt laser. Check your file settings and keep a eye on any files you try for the first time. These 5 files are setup to use the Laser Module in Vcarve Desktop, Pro and Aspire. I used the laser module in vcarve to make these test files. Pretty straight...

Firmware update to add this button.
Please consider this option. When running a toolpath on the pendant. Add one more button "Move to tooling area" and have the ability to add that coordinate to the setup. For example I am using a jig board setup. I am working on 12 pieces of plywood that one at a time sit inside this jig and is held ...
