Some sort of HD model, but I don't know which. If you figure out the possible cutting area, that'll help you narrow it down.

$2300 is a good deal. They run around $4000 new.

When it was new, that package sold for $5k. It's now an older model that's no longer stocked.

It's worth what you can get for it, of course. I would spitball $3k as a starting point.

I'll second that. VCarve (an Aspire) is an absolutely wonderful tool. I don't get to fire up my CNC machine much anymore, but I do a lot of laser cutting and all the design is still done with VCarve. The inside quick engrave is perfectly straight. The cutout... at least, I think it's a cutout... it's hard to photograph clear acrylic... the cutout you're pointing to doesn't get all the way in the corner because your bit will not fit any further into the crevice without cutting through the lines. ...

It pretty much depends on the software you have, assuming you mean the g-code generation. You can generate this all by hand if you want, but you shouldn't. Many (most?) Shark owners have some version of Vectric's software, which is absolutely fantastic stuff. Very easy to learn as CAD software goes ...
