The inside quick engrave is perfectly straight. The cutout... at least, I think it's a cutout... it's hard to photograph clear acrylic... the cutout you're pointing to doesn't get all the way in the corner because your bit will not fit any further into the crevice without cutting through the lines. ...

It pretty much depends on the software you have, assuming you mean the g-code generation. You can generate this all by hand if you want, but you shouldn't. Many (most?) Shark owners have some version of Vectric's software, which is absolutely fantastic stuff. Very easy to learn as CAD software goes ...

I've had that happen, too. When the machine tries to go beyond its work envelope, it physically hits against the end and the controller believes the router has continued to move when, in reality, the machine was obviously stuck there. All subsequent moves are offset by that amount and your workpiece...

The only real difference between ours and the one you're looking at is the bed size. That's the main difference in all the Shark models, actually.

Beautiful. I would never have guessed baltic ply was used by looking at it. Automotive filler and paint? I'll have to try that.

I always love combining fabrications from different machines (CNC, laser cutter, 3d printer). It's amazing what you can build at home these days.
