Re: Headscratcher for me?
Hey Folks, First post here and needed to get onboard as a means to try and hunt down an issue that is puzzling me. <snip>..... - Was surprised and shocked when the SD110, with the brand-new spindle started galling the aluminum and this started to really impact the machine. Started to hog in and suc...

Re: Ready2control software ?
WBill: R2C, is essentially optional. You can get the full machine functionality by transferring toolpaths (.tap files) onto a USB flash drive, then plugging that into the pendant. Some prefer a computer user interface, others feel perfectly fine using only the pendant. Some use both. However, there ...

Re: Shark sd110
Well, definitely check that the pendant thinks it is on the correct machine. This is apparently a commonly-lost setting in the system, unfortunately.

Re: Shark sd110
I wonder if the pendant's model number is possibly incorrect, and it thinks it's actually a different size of CNC machine? Check out this article on NWA's web site. Though....it doesn't seem to include an SD110 in the list. https://nextwaveautomation.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/4409622842779-Deter...

Shark HD movement issues
Brock: I should add that some of what you're describing--namely the reversing of direction--sounds like it might be either broken wires, or maybe even loose connections inside the controller box. IIRC, the driver modules are mounted to a heatsink plate, but are not screwed into the main controller b...

Re: HD510 and Aspire
Yes, just be sure to use the right post-processor, available on the Vectric or NWA site. Here's the low-down from NWA:

Hope that helps,
