Kruizer
Excellent!
And, The best part is that you know how to copy objects along a vector. You'll have fun in the future with other projects using this technique.

Outstanding job, now I understand why you were concentrating on only one side. Very ingenious.

Kruizer,
That's a really nice job!
I still enjoy watching the Shark drill all those little holes so evenly.

I have been working on the layout for a board as well. We play a lot of cribbage on submarines and my wife has learned too. It is my first cnc project (Pro plus that I got cheap off of a coworker who upgraded). Which toolpath works best to drill the holes? I tried using a 1/16th straight bit with .24" holes and selected each of the .0625" circles that I layed out in a typical 3 track layout. the machine runs with the code loaded, but only moves a couple .001ths and and then plunges .001-.003 and moves. it is not moving along the pattern that is loaded into the G code, but along some other path in small lateral increments. Any help that you could provide a VERY green newbie would be appreciated.

Thanks
Rick

Create 3 holes the size and distance a part that you what and then group them together. Then copy those a long the center line of your 3 lines. Use what Bob said about counting spaces and holes to get the number of copies.
