I just recently bought my HD520 with the extended bed. When I connect my PC with the ready2control software it keeps asking if I want to update the HD 510 controller software. Does the HD520 actually use the same controller as the HD 510? should I apply this update?

If your z-axis won't go to the bottom, then it's usually the product ID got reset, and needs to be put to
4003 (for the 510), or 4004 (for the longer 520). Or at least that's the rumors. I'm pretty sure sacrificing
a chicken was removed in the 4.5 generation
