My Mako edition CNC Shark will be here Monday (7th). I already have a small set of end mills (3) 2 flute and (3) 4 flute in various sizes.
I want to be able to make smaller parts for robotics in plastic and aluminum.
What are the mills I need to have a good "essential" set on hand?
The first one I can think of is a few ball end mill's but I'm not sure what sizes to order. Also for fine etching what do I need?

Re: Essential Mill Set Components
All I have been using are 1/4" and 1/8". Although today, I should have used a larger end mill. I am so used to using a 1/4" I forgot. Don't forget what your radius corners are going to be. And what mills you are going to be able to get into them with. Kinda sucks when you may forget or overlook , and you have to either scrap the piece or work it with files, or whatever to remove all that stock.
