Cleaning the chips out of Acrylic after v-carving

Post by basecircle »

Hi gang just a tip. After cutting a carving in a acrylic plastic I noticed some chips sticking to the side of the vcarve.I took a wooden dowel and sanded a point on it.placed it in the groove rubbed the sides back and forth to remove the chips.worked great. And the dowel will not scratch the acrylic.Makes it look like a cleaner cut.Give it a try.Basecircle

Looks like a round toothpick. Thanks for the tip!
