Do a search on the forum, plenty of good places for bits. I get my corian on eBay. http://stores.ebay.com/SanJac-Stuff?refid=store. Acrylic I get cast acrylic from http://www.estreetplastics.com/Plexigla ... r_s/21.htm

Search Craigslist for corian and such. Wood, look for small sawmills or lumber yards. Estreet plastic has good prices on acrylic.

Haven't dealt with all of these but here are the ones I know of (or at least the ones I can find right now).

Wood

Plastics

http://www.professionalplastics.com/
http://www.onlinemetals.com/ (also metal)

Like I said I haven't dealt with all of these. Some don't even appear to have web stores. I just try to keep track when someone mentions one.

My specialty wood comes from a place called Keim Lumber in the Amish country about 45min from my house. They have an exotic wood section and carry literally every species known. Some of it is Very expensive. It's not uncommon to buy a plank measuring 4/4x10"x8' for over $100. I was just there last weekend and dropped a little over $500 for some curly cherry, spalted maple and waterfall bubinga plus some walnut rounds and ovals. They are serious about their grading and if it doesn't meet their expectations you can pick up some planks fairly cheap. One section has whole tree slabs that sell for several thousands each. I haven't reached that plateau yet and doubt if I ever will but they've been able to supply me with some beautiful wood. The nice thing about it is my cutoffs make some beautiful pen blanks for another one of my hobbies.

For many specific sheet goods like nylon, aluminum, UHMW and the like, I use McMaster-Carr.
