Would anyone find this useful?

Post by Bob »

When we have Shark Owners meetings at the Milwaukee Rockler store, I usually present a lesson on Vectric software.
Information I present is gathered from forums, personal experience, discussions, and combined with a current project I'm doing.
Since I had been using Photo VCarve and VCarve Pro to carve a photo into wood, I based my last lesson on that experience.
In all of my lessons I mention that there are other ways to accomplish the job, I'm just presenting a procedure that worked for me.
So, check out my latest lesson, and let me know if it's worthwhile to post more in the future.

The lesson:

You should come to our Cnc classes at the Buffalo rockler store on Transit Rd the first Saturday of each month. There are about 20 people that come.

Bob,
Sometimes people smile and use it and don't vote. LOL Personally, although I have done pictures on Corian before, a printed worksheet is always useful to have and use for comparison and reference. I printed it out immediately and put it with my Shark reference and education material. Thumbs up from me.

Bob,
I have just entered the world of cnc and thus am digesting many many instructional topics on cnc skills and the like. This document seems to be a crisp and clear handout. It has many jump off points for deeper discussions in an open presentation and would serve well as the take home for the lesson. Good job!

Thank you for the positive comments.
I'll get busy and locate other lesson sheets that I can post.

Bob, looking forward to future lessons. I didn't download the first one because I don't have photocarve, but really like to learn about the shark from experienced users,
Mike
