water tubing

support isn’t getting back to me. anybody know where to buy replacement tubing for the water cooled spindle? i can’t seem to find the correct od/id combo on amazon.

Did they have the same tubing at lowes? Also is there a video that exists on how to change it out? We have a new teacher and don't remember how it was all put together.

Home Depot has it in 20-foot coils. it's the 3/16" ID size, vinyl tubing. Some places even have 100-foot rolls.

Should set you back about $6 per 20 feet.

The fittings on top of the spindle are simple compression fittings. Remove the cone-shaped nut, pull or cut the old tubing off. Slide the new tubing through the nut, press it onto the barbed fitting, then screw the nut back on. Don't tighten it too much, as the fitting can definitely break off in the top of the spindle body, and will make your day very sad. :(
