Straight Line HELP

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to design a display case for challenge coins. Everything is going well except one thing, I can't figure out how to cut straight lines for the coins to rest in. I have tried everything my pee sized brain can think of, so I figured I would turn to you all.

Any help would be appreciated. I am using VCarve Pro.

Thanks, Rob

Good Morning Rob,

There is several ways to do this. Here is one way.
Select your material size and zero X, Y & Z.

On the drawing page under Create Vectors.
Select the icon that looks like a Z.
Draw your line or lines.

Switch to Toolpath Tab.
Select your straight line.
Select profile tool you are using.
On 2D profile page and input cut depth.
Select tool you are using.
Under machine vectors select on.
Calculate and save toolpath.

That's all, Of course your cut line will be the a line the same thickness as the diameter of your tool.

Good Luck.

Bob
