No paint signs

Post by dmyers »

I tried a new way to make signs without the need to paint.
I veneered a thin sheets of various light color woods on black walnut.
In my vacuum press.

Now that is a great idea.. The lettering is nice and crisp.

Tony,

Thanks,
I still paint, but I really like the look of the contrasting colors of the woods.
Plus, the lettering does come out crisp with less work.
