The small shark were setup for cabinet doors not signs As stated above to do signs along the base you need to turn the gantry around and then switch the X and Y motor connections. Then it will not mirror and be in the correct orientation without having to turn it in vcarve.

I've been watching this with interest, and it's good to know the background as to why things are the way they are, and how to make changes to better suit our needs. Thanks all

My Y axis previously ran the long way, left to right and the X axis ran the short way towards me and away from me. So I switched the cables. Now the X axis is correct - negative to the left and positive to the right. However the Y axis negative runs away from me and the Y axis positive runs towards me. How do I switch the Y axis negative with the Y positive?
Thanks to all for their wonderful contributions.

Yes. Thank you. After I submitted, I thought about it further and realized what needed to be done. Works well now, thanks.
