Dust Tube Holder

I have a dust shoe on the Shark and hated watching the 4" dust tube flop around so came up with this "Dust Tube Holder" to keep it in place.
Seems to work pretty well. I did have to drill and tap the top plate to mount it. With the cooling tubes oriented as they are in the picture there is no issue with the Tubes or spindle wire hitting when you raise the "Z". Made from 1/2" plywood. It has since got a coat of black paint.
I would be happy to share the file if anyone else is interested.

I like it. I just bought the HD5 and it comes with a 2-1/2" shoe port. The new dust shoes come with super soft bristles and get sucked into the port. I'm going to be changing the whole thing out and replacing with a KENT CNC or something similar.
I love your design for keeping the hose up. I was planning on making my dust hose hang from the ceiling. This would help prevent it from hitting cables. A file would be appreciated.

Just a quick follow up on the holder.
It has been working very well for over a year now.
It got painted black right after the pictures - looks more tacticool that way.
