Router Replacement
OK my Porter cable 890 8902 router died, any recommendations on replacement?
Re: Router Replacement
My first thought is that if it's been working well for the past 8 years and just broke down, the Porter cable 890 8902 might be a good one to to use as a replacement.
Other thoughts: Spindles are really a good way to go and are made for extended run times and are quiet, but you need to add components to your system for speed control, cooling, mounting, etc.
Which brings me back to my first thought: If you were satisfied why switch? If you're not satisfied, give a serious look at a spindles.
Just my thoughts...
