Has anyone tried the Bosch 1617 router on their Shark.

It's what I used when I had my HD4. I no longer have that machine, but I still use that router in another machine. Works great, and I haven't replaced the bearings or brushes in over a year's worth of use.
The Bosch is a very good router, but Rando is giving good advise in using a spindle. With a spindle, the bit makes more noise than the spindle.
