Anyone doing puzzles on the Shark? At least in cutting the pattern into the wood to then be separated by scroll saw? The same question for an artistic process called intarsia? If so, post some pictures please.

I've never done intarsa, but it should be easy to cut parts if you have a clean line drawing of the pattern. Different parts from a variety of woods could easily be isolated and cut using the profile function when calculating tool paths.

The only jigsaw puzzles I have done was when I made some interlocking giant puzzle pieces for coasters. Each piece was made from a different piece of wood, not cut out from one piece. The fit together very well.

I do a 2mm guide line into pieces of pine for my wife to cut on the scroll saw with a 60 degree bit when she is making her kitchen goodies for sale at the markets, I'll take a pic of the blanks next time if you like, nothing exciting though.
