What design software are y'all using? Art Cad, bobcad, sketch up???

Hi cnick60 I have been using sketchup and 123 auto desk.There free and You can make some nice 3d parts.Of course the best to use is aspire.Hope to get it soon.Iam sure more will chime in on this.Give it a try.It's free. basecircle

What knd of learning curve? Background do you have for those tools?

I use sketch up a lot, never used any of the others....but I should mention I ate a lot of lead pant as a child but still catch on pretty quick.... :D

I use Lightwave (Newtek) with LWCAD (WTools3D).

I'm using AutoCAD, because I've used it since forever, and just recently started using Rhinoceros 3d. AutoCAD is great for blocky stuff, but not so good for curves. I'm finding Rhino challenging but getting through it.
