not turning on?!

the cnc machine is not turning on, is this a common issue, or did our not usiung a surge protector bite us in the butt?

Open the controller box.There should be a fuse,If it is blown replace it.There are a few posts on this.radio shack has the fuse.Also check that your e stop is not pushed in.Iam sure others will chime in on this.Basecircle

forgot to reply, the power cord was shot, replaced power cord and ta-da
