While you're waiting, if you have the time, you might want to go through the videos here on the forum, and also step through some of the Vectric VCarve Pro tutorials - http://www.vectric.com.

There's also some good posts on the forum about what to expect/how it arrives (boxes/packing) and also one or two that compliment the instruction manual (pretty handy as it is pretty thin). One example is http://www.cncsharktalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=260 - but a lot of other lessons learned here in the forum about setup and starting out.

I placed my order on Saturday. Hopefully shipping over the northern border doesn't add too much delay.

Purchased it at Rockler in Michigan and it should be there Thursday. I will take it across the border myself because if it were shipped to me the brokerage fee at customs would be expensive. Bringing it back myself all I pay is the canadian taxes. Pete

Sunday was a busy day. From unboxing to working was about 3 hours and not a glitch to be seen. Everything has worked as advertised. Now to get down to some serious dust generation.
