Re: Table Saw Inserts
Thanks! Care to share what saw/model these were created for. Not all saws have the same blade opening.
Re: Table Saw Inserts
I would love to know what saw these inserts fit. I have a Porter Cable TS that is a PITA to make inserts for due to the construction of the thing. I have made a few but have to mill away so much material that the insert is pretty flimsy. My best solution so far is to make an insert to fir the opening in the stock plate and glue it to a piece of wood that attaches to the stock plate with rare earth magnets. Unconventional maybe but it does work pretty well.
Re: Table Saw Inserts
Sorry gentlemen, I must have missed this request. The inserts are for a Craftsman 10-in Table Saw. Model 152.221040. I tapped some holes where they lined up with the 4 little ledges where the insert sits in the saw. I then threaded some plastic set screws that I got from McMaster Carr.

Re: Table Saw Inserts
Just bought a new grizzly and used one of mine to make a pattern to make me one. Put it on the printer scanner and than sized it by making a box the length and width than deleted box
Re: Table Saw Inserts

Re: Table Saw Inserts
SawStop 10" contractor saw with cast iron table and 52" extension table.
Re: Table Saw Inserts
Made a insert for my neighbors old Delta table saw, after he told me he used his dado blades with out an insert.
So I used the insert he had as a pattern and made 3 of them for him to use before he hurt himself.
Also, going to make one for another neighbor who has an old Craftsman 10" saw. Who also uses his dado blades with out an insert.
I'll upload the file when I get it done and it fits his saw.
They make cheap inserts to use to avoid tear out.
As always check all tool paths and dimensions before you cut it out.
