3D Cutting Depth Zero

Post by DFSWoodWorks »

Ok,

So, I have created a sign that has 3D carving in it. For some reason, my zero doesn't set properly and it always starts above the material by about an inch. All my other 2D vectors zero properly. What am I missing? Is this a common problem? I have the zero set to the material surface.

Hi John,

Check the Model Position in Material setting in the Material Setup tool. I suspect you have it set so that the model is flush with the bottom of the material, and not the top of the material.
