Size of Spoil Board

I have a Shark ProPlus with the extruded aluminum table. It is 25 x 36. Are most people using a spoil board? What should the size be for the spoil board? I have a sheet of baltic birch 3/4 plywood that could be used.

Question is that I do not want to trash the aluminum table when cutting through. The

I prefer to use strips of mdf covering one slot, leaving one slot open, then cover one more...repeat. Counterbore mounting holes in the mdf so bolt heads are below the surface.
