x, y, z axis and virtual setup

Post by terryz854 »

For some reason when I run virtual setup the z axis goes straight up way past what I set as the z axis point. It goes up until it hits the top level and keeps trying to go higher until i do an emergency stop. I have looked and looked at the toolpath, tried different toolpaths and even shut everything down and rebooted but still does it. Only work around I've found is not using virtual setup and just telling it to detect the touchplate. Then it's OK. HELP!, Please. Have a Nextwave Shark HD 3 with VCarce.

Terry,
I would first check Clearance( Z1 ) and see if it's sending your Z way too high.

I checked it Bob and it's set at .5, so no problem there. GRRRR.
