Hi,
I have been asked to produce stencils suitable for spray painting signs.
Approx size 400mm long 100mm high.
I will be using 6mm MDF or similar.
Can someone point me in the right direction to start this project.
Thanks in advance
Wayne.

Re: Railway sleeper
Hi Roger, Here in Australia we are able to purchased used railway sleepers from garden / landscape supply centers. After the sleeper section was sliced in half I attached it to a sled and fed it through my thicknesser. Only problem is this timber has a lot of grit embedded into it from years on a ra...

Re: Railway sleeper
Hi Joe
I surface and sand the face first, apply a few coats of clear spray,
do the engrave then brush on black water based paint and wipe off with a damp cloth.

Re: Addressed to Next Wave Automation - Hidden Stops
I have an early model shark pro.
I had the same problem quite some time ago.
The problem was only in jog mode.
I had the control box replaced for another issue.
Have had no problems with jog mode with replacement control box.

Hi Richard,
This sounds very impressive.
Please post some examples of your work, and how easy it is to use this package.

Re: Adding time for router spin up...
Try setting your FRO to just above 50% to give your router time to get to speed, once the router is at speed change your FRO to your normal setting.

Re: Question about cutting out a pattern.
I use the same method as Scott. When I use double sided tape I " sandwich" the double sided tape between layers of packing tape. I apply a layer of packing tape to the sacrificial board then apply double sided tape then a layer of packing tape to the work piece. Then apply the work piece to the sacr...

Re: fine adjustments in the Y axis
Hi Joe,
I recall it was a big no no to run a program with a low FRO, but when in jog mode I always set the FRO to lowest possible to get the slowest jog speed.
This works for me.
