Re: Adding Project File Sharing Capability to the Forum

Great idea.
I would definitely like to be involved, first with the learning process and then with the sharing of projects.

Re: CNC Chip Carving

Hi guys,
When I use double sided tape I use packing tape on the bed and the job with the double sided tape in between.
It makes it much easier to separate the parts when the work is complete.

Re: Precise (!) Z adjustments

Hi Fred.
Leave the bit loose in the router collet, lower the "Z" to very close to the surface of the timber, loosen the collet until the bit touches the timber, tighten the collet and zero "Z"

Re: Y axis problem

The X lead screw will not turn when connected to the Y control connector.
The unit does not even run when " cold"
The inside of the controller box is clean.
I will make contact with Carbatec.
Thanks very much for your help Tim.

Re: Suddenly, I'm not getting accurate routes

Hi Ed,
In your reply you mention the router needs to be perfectly vertical. Where do you place the shims ? And what is the best method to "measure" vertical
