Re: control panel 2.1 21
I am getting too old to have to play with this software. . . I pressed every key and found Cntl-G will get me into the hidden screen and I was able to use the password 787 to change the polarity of the direction for Y. And a trial run makes the sawdust come out in the right direction. My panic is in...

Re: control panel 2.1 21
It has been a few weeks since I last used the Shark. I had an issue a while back with CP2.0 registration and NWA sent CP2 ver 2.1 Build 17. and I thought all was well. NOT Tried to carve simple sign and it cam out reverse. Today was the first time I saw in the JOG screen the arrows for 45, 135, 225,...

Re: Right side carve too deep
I used to leave my laptop computer on 24/7 and even the Control Panel 2.0 running for days. After I started to power down the computer when not in use and always started from power up or RESTART and then ran the Control Panel and loaded the .tap file and run, I have not had another issue with cuttin...

Re: Z-depth shifting during jobs
I too have had Z-creep deeper. I use a Muscle Chuck and the bit isn't moving. I did tighten the router clamp so it wouldn't move vertical by adding a few strips of the old electrical friction tape down along the sides of the router to allow the plastic router clamp to get a tighter grip. Also, I tho...

Re: Zero Plate Question
Is the Next Wave Automation TOUCH PLATE accessory what you need? It measures the height of the material surface at five locations ( 4 corners and center) to correct for uneven material surfaces as it carves. It requires the touch plate of known thickness, its serial number to register with Next Wave...

Re: Right side carve too deep
Tony,
My blue aluminum bed rails are reasonably flat. Certainly not 0.25 or more out. VZ should have taken care of changes in Z elevation, bed and material combined.

Re: Right side carve too deep
Thanks for the quick reply . . . The shop stays at the same temp and has A/C. When the carve started it began in the middle of the sign near x=0 y=0 z=0, but after the carving completed, and depth measured, the center was .35 deep and the left side was as programmed at .25 deep and far right was .55...

Right side carve too deep
Having trouble searching this . . . says I use too ambiguous terms . . . My Shark has the X and Y reversed for longer signs, and I use VZ. Carving 4" x 24" with 1/4" end mill. It starts out OK at .25 depth but as it works its way across to the right end the depth now is about .550" deep. Measuring s...

Independant Tile Sizing
Using VCarve Pro 7.510 I would like to tile a long 72" sign. Knowing that I need reference marks to locate the different sections, it would seem practical to be able to change the size of each tile section such that the transition is between letters, rather than thru the middle of a cut letter, requ...

Re: Altering X and Y orientation
NWA CNC Shark Control Panel V2.0 doesn't have Cntl-E. Use Cntl-G instead. After playing with my V2.0, I find more hidden stuff: Cntl-I DIAGNOSTICS Cntl-R RUN PROGRAM Cntl-G CONFIGURATION Password "787" Cntl-D MATERIAL SIZE Cntl-S SCAN Cntl-L FILE Directory Cntl-B DEBUG PANEL Cntl-C Resets mouse loca...
