Thank you Ralph I know mach3 can read the G code from an stl file so what I was asking would be possible that opens up a lot of opportunity's... Like let's say create a file in cut 3D save it as stl then send to mach3 and cut it on another cnc machine so my Shark is free for other work and the resiz...

suppliers

I know some people will not give up their suppliers for supply and demand reasons but for every one else I am new to cnc and would like to know where do you get your supplies like corian and acrylic ,or specialty wood and or maybe aluminum I want to do some doll houses and all I can find local is 24...

Why don't you just draw it out with paint or on v-Carve the set vectors set tool path size then cut it out looks simple to figure out ... might take you 1/2 an hour or so then when you save it you can always go back and re cut it any time you like ...hope that helps .Martin :ugeek:

Hello every one first let me say I am a new cnc user my cnc will be shipped out by user (cnc is fun) on Thursday brand new Shark pro HD for $3200 with the router included so I will get it next week I am wanting the scan probe but have a ? or two (1st) what format will it save the scan files into can...
