Re: Dust Collection Hose Location
I don't have a picture to share, but can tell you what I have done. I used the dust collection kit from a Craftsman system for my piping. This is smaller and the connector ends fit perfectly into the 2 1/4 inch opening of the dust collector. I suspended a rod from the ceiling down to approximately 4...

Re: What should I use???
Thank you very much Roger. Excellent advice. Would you be willing to mention just a few of the fonts you prefer.

Re: What should I use???
Joe......that's great advice no matter what you are working with. I have both in my shop and they ARE used along with safety glasses and hearing protection. Thanks for the reminder of safety.

Re: What should I use???
I am using the same software as you are Joethegasman. I will need to get a couple of bits but that is doable. Thank you for the input. If you or anyone else has a suggestion on working with cedar and a suggested font I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks...Iwejan

What should I use???
I'm a fairly new CNC owner and after a lot of trial and error (mostly error), I have started work on some very basic signs. I would like to know from those more experienced than I, what is the best bit or bits to use, and any suggestions on working with cedar boards. I should also add that any sugge...

Re: Open Vector's
First, let me thank all of you for the information on my post. The majority seem to be in favor of not using a single line font and that is what I will do first. I'll let you know how this works out. I guess it is possible to teach an old dog new tricks if he is willing to listen to the advice. Iwej...

Re: Open Vector's
The font is a single line and yes, I am trying to use the V-Carve. Would it make it better if I change the font to a multiple/double line and perhaps use a different carving path if that's what you call it? It is only text. As you can see, I don't think I'm anywhere near ready to try importing a sha...

Open Vector's
Please help. I'm new to the use of a CNC. I have watched as many video's and tutorials as I can find, but apparently must have missed one or two as I cannot get my first project completed. The project is nothing more than a 5.5 X 16 inch flat sign with two lines of text using the Helvicka font. Ever...

Text entry to Text Box
Need some help. While setting up wording in a text box, I apparently performed a keystroke of some type that caused all of my words to appear in the text box vertically rather than horizontally. I have tried everything I know of to correct the issue, but after entering the text and either moving the...
