CNC shark pro plus. Please help.

Post by Arsen1976 »

Hey Guys!
I'm really new here but I have a question.
I purchased CNC Shark Pro Plus and I also bought aspire.
I did few thing with it and I love it. I do it as a hobby but I have a question for you: after you done machining wood do you finish it by hand in some areas or your piece comes out of CNC completely finished?
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or it's just normal to send it by hand after you done with CNC.
Thank you very much.

When I do 3d work the piece is done when it comes off the machine. I use a .125 ball nose for my finish cut with a 8-10 percent step over . I usually sand my piece and put 2 coats of finish on my plaques before cutting out lettering on them.
