First time user problem
I have my shark Mako operational today. I am having a little problem. My sotware part is 6" x 12", but the maching is carving in about a .50 x .50 area. Can anyone help a newbie?

Post what Post Processor you are using when you use the "Save Tool Path"

I am using G code, but there are multiple versions. I tried all the inch versions with no change.

Re: First time user problem
You have to use the cncshark(arcs) one and remember to set your user interface to inches not millimetres.

Thanks for the comment.
I have my units set to inches in VCarve Pro and I also tried the Gcode arcs inches post processor, still the same affect. I am wondering if the machine itseldf is set up for mm, so its taking a number like 5.000" and assuming it is mm. Is this possible?
I appreciate any comments.
Thanks for the reply.

Good to hear from you. I am located in east bethel. I think I figured out my problem. I experimented and converted one of my projects to metric. Used a metric G code post processor and the unit worked. It seems my control box is set up for metric. Any thoughts?
Also I would welcome you to come take a look.
Thanks.
