shortly I'm going to switch mine to a spindle
just want it to be quieter
bosch router has been good with no problems just the usual noise
I keep a spare on the shelf just in case it is needed

Switch to a spindle? That's the first time I've heard that. So the shark is built to accommodate doing that?

I am very interested in pursing something, anything to reduce the noise.

Off topic: Going to start looking in earnest to build an enclosure to trap and suck out the dust as well. Then incorporate a moving table and a stand for my laptop. Seen a few posts that I will be examining closer.

My Colt oozed molten plastic last summer when the front bearing seized up. I had good luck with this site.

Ken,
Is the spindle from Next wave or something different?

It will be something different
I have 3 milling machines that have interchangable heads (spindle)
plan to mount the receiver for the head on the shark
will post pictures when I get it mounted

I'd like to make a suggestion on the spindle, you might start a new topic since so many are interested in the spindle but are also following concerns with the Bosch. Heck, I would like to see it myself!

I was answering questions that was posted here.
I also have 4 bosch routers
