Laptop Requirements

Post by misterx »

Hi, I just got my shark pro plus, and I was woundering if my acer laptop will work for the software. It has Windows 7 and a AMD dual-Core Processor C-50 (1.0GHz), 2 GB DDR3 Menory, 250 GB hard drive. I see that in the vetric software manual it says PC Requirements are that you need a 2GHz Pentium 4. Will this processor work? Thanks Tim

Hi Tim,

I am not up on all the makes and models of chips these days, but the Pentium 4 is fairly old technology. I am willing to guess that if your laptop is running Windows 7, you have what is necessary to run the software.
Thanks,

-Eric

I sure the shark doesn't need the extra punch. But......
Aspire, like all graphics programs are process and memory hogs. So if you are doing a lots of 3D stuff you might will want to upgrade. If you are doing 2 d stuff you should be fine. Your best bet is to plug'er in and push the go button and find out.
You can always upgrade.........but its tough to go get your money back.

HI TIM,

Just wanted to say that you could e-mail vectric with this type of question and they should be able to answer your question.
