Vcarve alternative

Is there a free or low cost alternative to Vcarve? All we need is the ability to create Vbit carvings or etches. We do not do 3d. Vcarve 8.5 was working great but we need it on a new computer and it is no longer available per Vetric.

VCarve 8.5 is no longer available for purchase, but you can still download it from their site if you've purchased it. Just login and head to your owned products area to download it.

Until two days ago, I was using VCarve Pro 8.5 still. Works great.
