I was wondering, is the Shark or Shark Pro open under the table? With the Shopbot you can cut a hole through the table and rout the end of long parts by standing them on end. Can the be done with the Shark?

The Shark series do not come open on the bottom. Even if you modified it yourself the lower part of the gantry would probably bump into the piece you're working on.
