Cookies for Santa

Post by tradewinds »

This is the first automata that I have made, I call it "Cookies for Santa:
Santa goes up and down the chimney trying to figure out who is stealing his cookies.
The snowman is the culprit, we see him drinking the milk and moving the plate to get yet another cookie.

Here is view of the front of it.

Here is a view of the of the cogs and levers that enable the movement.

Here is a YouTube video of it in action: https://youtu.be/gT0lSFyU-W8

Awesome! And just in time, too. Nice job, nice to see whimsical items. Thanks for posting it, tradewinds

(by way of comparison, I made a flat plywood ring 16" in diameter on my CNC today...boooooring!)
