New Ball Screws Quetions:

Post by Bruce Tainter »

I recently replaced and upgraded my ball screws and the tread is a bit different than the originals. Now my work is running off about an eighth of an inch on X, Y, and Z. How can I compensate for this deviation?

You may be able to compensate for that with a custom post processor (tap) file. The control panel software also has some ability to compensate with password 787.

Call support at nextwaveautomation, they should tell you what the ball screw specs are. Tell them what machine you have.
